MSRP USD $101,000 – $232,000 From the moment I stepped into the Taycan, it was clear this wasn’t just another EV — this is a Porsche, through and through. The design is sleek and low-slung, with curves and lines that make it look fast even when parked. It feels futuristic without trying too hard. Driving Experience The drive is genuinely exhilarating. The acceleration is instant — silent but forceful. Even the entry-level rear-wheel drive model feels sharp and responsive, but the higher trims are brutally fast. What impressed me most wasn’t just the power, but the control. The car stays flat through corners and the steering feels perfectly balanced. It’s engaging in a way most electric cars simply aren’t. The ride quality is smooth, yet connected. You feel the road enough to stay engaged but not enough to be bothered. It doesn’t float — it glides, and the handling is tight without being twitchy. It's a proper driver's car. Range & Charging The range has improved a lot. I easily managed over 200 miles in normal driving with air con running, and the fast-charging system is quick enough to make long-distance trips easy. Plugging in at high-speed chargers adds serious range in just 10–15 minutes, which is a huge plus for real-world usability. Interior & Tech Inside, the cabin is refined and modern. The layout is digital but still intuitive. There are multiple screens — but they don’t overwhelm you. The optional passenger screen is a cool touch. The seating position is low and sporty, but still comfortable for long drives. Storage space is decent for a performance sedan, though not class-leading. That said, while the quality is high, some of the materials could feel a bit more premium at this price point. Still, the cockpit makes you feel like you’re in something special. Final Thoughts The Taycan doesn’t just prove that Porsche can build a great EV — it proves they can redefine the EV segment. It's powerful, composed, fast, and genuinely fun to drive. If you want an electric car that doesn’t feel like a compromise, this is it.
